The recognition highlights our ability to bridge the gap between product development and reliable, scalable manufacturing for demanding medical, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a specialized, pure-play CDMO, we focus on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weidmann-medical.com\/capabilities\/injection-molding\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.weidmann-medical.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">high-precision injection-molded components <\/a>and automated assembly solutions. We do not manufacture medical products, but we work with customers as a dedicated partner without competing interests. Our capabilities combine advanced molding technologies, cleanroom production, high levels of automation, integrated inline inspection, and stable high-volume manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A central theme of the award article is the importance of involving industrialization expertise early in product development. Through Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly, our teams help customers to optimise products for functionality, and robust, efficient serial production. Close collaboration between engineering, innovation, automation, production, and project management supports fast feedback loops and informed decisions throughout the product lifecycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The article also highlights recent investments in our manufacturing capabilities. These include a highly automated production line in Bad Ragaz. It makes precision diagnostic consumables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The process runs from raw material feeding to final packaging. It does so without manual operator intervention. New production and inspection systems in Switzerland and North America also use AI-supported process monitoring to detect deviations early and support remote optimization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking ahead, we will continue to expand automation, digital manufacturing, high-precision molding, and integrated quality systems across our European and North American sites.
